Microsoft adds traffic cameras to Windows 10
Microsoft now allows Windows users an even better insight into traffic and weather conditions with the inclusion of Vizzion traffic camera imagery in the Windows 10 Maps app. This feature runs alongside the existing traffic flow and incident data on both Windows 10 desktop and mobile devices, and allows users to quickly visualize current road conditions. If you have one of the 350 million devices now running Windows 10, viewing cameras is now as easy as opening the Maps app.
To view cameras in Windows 10, go to your start menu and select the Maps app. Click on the layers button, and make sure the Cameras checkbox is selected. Zoom in on a location of your choice and look for camera icons. Selecting a camera icon will display the latest snapshot from that location. Current coverage includes traffic cameras across the US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Germany, Spain, and the UK.
